Destroyed my registry
I am comparing this to Tune Up Utilities which I had to purchase and install just to fix what this program broke. I ran my first maintenance with Total Defense and after it finished doing its thing it had me reboot my computer. Lenovo T430s reboots and blue screens with page file error. restarts itself after the dump completed and blue screens again with registry corrupt error. restarts itself a 3rd time and I boot into safemode. From here I promptly uninstalled Total Defense and installed Tune Up 2013. Ran tune up, it fixed everything that Total Defense had already claimed to fix and guess what, computer runs like a champ now. Please be wary of this version of Total Defense. Great idea and awesome sponsorship of nonprofits but come on. This software seems to be in infant stages still.

I've returned the product
I did not notice anything special on two computers - one a laptop about 3 years old, and a PC about 7 years old. I called to buy more memory for the PC, and was pressured into buying the Tune-up.

Returned Product for Refund
Did not pick up all the drivers for my new Windows 7 OS. We found better freeware.

Not a good product
The Total Defense Tune-Up software is a hyped up product that is totally ineffective and does not help, but does hinder, the software it says it will help. I would not recommend this product, nor will I use it. I have removed it from my machine, and have thrown the CD in the trash. Save your money.

Still palying with it. windows explorer still stops working, suppossedly said it fixed the problem. We'll see.

JUST AS I SUSPECTED
After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical of the purchase but I still followed the salesmans recomendations. and he was right my computer runs noticibly faster even when navigating between webpages, some of my friends believe I have a SSD drive installed in my system. Im glad I made the purchase and I think webpages need to censor peoples from leaving wrong reviews. Of course it does not work on windows 8 it says what operating systems it works for in the specs, plus windows 8 hasnt released yet so if he tested it, he did so on a incomplete pirated version. If you are skeptical take a chance I can assure you its worth it, and If its not THERE IS A 60 DAY money Back Assurance Policy.
