Just what I was looking for...
Easy set up for the exception of initially finding my network or hard drive files. Once I caught on, it was a breeze. Handles most files, jpg, mp3, mkv, mp4, avi, except for wmv. Streams very well from a computer hard drive through a wireless router. Remote works great as well.

OK for the price
Works great for streaming, but there is a lot of fussing to get it get it up and running. When I first connected it to my TV with HDMI, I got nothing! Hooked it up with the included audio-video cable, then got it working. After some playing around, I found a setting to turn on the HDMI functionality. then, it took a good half hour to download and install a firmware up-date. Another firmware up-date, about a month later, took almost an hour. This unit may be too much for the technically challenged.

Works well, now I can play all my avi videos or look at photos on my tv, however upload speed isn't the fastest it still works well.

Works for the Price
Unit works well most of the time. It would be nice of it had a reset button or an on and off switch. I downloaded the latest software and after using it for one week it has locked up twice. When unit locked up remote had no affect, after unplugging and replacing the rear power plug unit starting working again fine. I did notice moving square digital blocks in some of the dark areas of the picture that I never noticed before using my PS3. But that could be caused by internet speed, my provider or just picture quality.

Good bang for the buck
Easy to set up and use. Navigation isn't a slick as XBMC but gets the job done. Wireless or wired connectivity is very quick and easy. Streams 720p from 2nd floor to basement via wifi without a hitch. Huge 1080p bluray mkv files-over 15 gig-will buffer a lot. I have the Live Wire set on order and suspect this will resolve the 1080p throughput issue. Very satisfied-good product.

Not quite what I expected
I connected the unit wirelessly to a SonicWall router. Wireless setup using security was not as straight-forward as it should be but at the end I got it to work by sequentially trying settings until it worked. The documentation was useless. I absolutely recommend to buy a USB keyboard (preferably wireless) as data entry with the remote control works but is painful to say the least. YouTube is not usable, there is more buffering than playtime. (It's not the speed of the wireless connection to my router, I determined that.) At the end, I got what I wanted: A streaming device that gets me access to NetFlix in a way that even my non-technical spouse can use. Perhaps, down the road, I will get more out of the device by using some of the other features (streaming audio, displaying my own pics and videos, etc.)

A friend put me on to this for streaming movies. Best purchase I have made, nothing compares to this little baby for multi media players.

Does what it says it will
This was bought to view Netflix and free up our game console for gaming. It works as advertised. Accessing Facebook and other stuff is a bonus. Hook up is fast and easy.

Excellent Product
Purchased this product after reading about its ability to play network shared files. It played all my videos perfectly even my 720P movies without any lag over wireless (N Router). The only small issue I have is sorting the network share videos by date. It arranges it by name only so I would have to manually find the newest movies I put on the network share. It would be nice if there was a firmware update for this. Other than that small issue I would recommend this product to all!
