Cheap and worked out of box
Cheap and worked fine out of box had to replace an old IDE drive and this one works great. Sony makes good drives.

Two Failures
First unit dead out of the box. Second unit only reads and then fails to operate. Replaced second unit with DVDRW from another machine and can now burn. Do not recommend this DVD!

Great little drive
I needed a new DVD drive to load my games. My new mobo had no legacy connections only sata. This drive works just fine and is actually quite fast. The tray is a bit flimsy but for $18.00 I can't complain much. It's quality is surprisingly good for such an inexpensive product.

Quick Delivery Good Product
Built a PC from scratch and this drive completed the configuration. Installation was simple as Windows 7 installed the driver and I was off to the races. The drive is FAST and so far very reliable.

bundled with barebones kit
works perfect burned dvds quickly no complaints at all, i did notice it seems to catch a second on tray open press dont know if thats just how it opens or what but it works perfectomundo yo!!
