Fast, professional looking laptop
I agree with the other reviews, this thing is fast, but still remove the loads of bloatware. Lots of features for the price. Takes about 1 min. to fully start-up from being off. I bought a desktop about 6 mos. ago, quad core X4 645 3.1 Ghz, with 5400 rpm HD, 4 gb ram, find this laptop to be a little bit faster than it, but comparable, even though I believe the benchmarks would indicate the other should be faster. 7200 rpm HD here is nice, probably a more worthwhile upgrade, plus adding ram, vs. getting a i5 for most people. I love the metal finish, I've had laptops with the glossy finish and the matte or matte pattern, neither are very appealing, they look cheap and you can't keep fingerprints or smudges off the glossy types. They work and are good if you really want to save some money, but for a little bit more I find this definitely worth it.

Very impressed
I purchased this computer in April and have so far been very happy with it's quality and performance. There was a slight hitch during the initial boot up (the OS got stuck trying to update) but a quick call to customer support had it up and running normally in minutes. Other than that this computer has been running great! Hardware wise it's a bit heavy but feels very sturdy. None of that plastic feel of many current notebooks. The metal panels can be easily wiped down so fingerprints and dust are never a problem. The side vents guarantee that it stays cool and the chicklet keyboard makes for very smooth typing. The HD web cam is also a plus and the ac cord is thick and shows zero signs of fraying or creasing. Over all a great machine that I'd definitely recommend.

very satisfied
i've had laptop for over one month and it has performed well. love the numeric keyboard, windows 7 and high performance features. no problems, just some getting use to the layout of keys and windows 7. (had dell inspiron and xp prior to this one.) the one issue(which is very minimal) is the touchpad. it is place off-center and you must use the left side to move cursor around. it seems to have a dead spot on right but again, i'm not use to this pc so it could just be me.

Very Happy
We have been very pleased with the performance of this laptop. No issues as mentioned in some of the reviews. Worked great straight out of the box and continues to do so a month later.

Great computer for the price.
I bought this about a month ago. It came with windows 7, which was a plus. So far it has been working great. The battery works for about an hour or so with constant use. That is the only down fall.
