I had this product for three weeks of light to moderate use before it became non-responsive. Would not power on or recognize the USB connection. I Missed the return window so had to go trough the replacement process with Creative... Received replacement, performed firmware upgrade, used product exactly ONCE before the same problem has occurred.

Broke after one week, does not connect Bluetooth

I was very disappointed in this product, considering my past positive experiences with Creative mp3 players (such as the MuVo V100, which had an excellent and tough design). I was never able to pair the M300 with another bluetooth-enabled device, and after about two weeks of very light use, it will no longer turn on. I would recommend against purchasing this mp3 player

Faulty

The SD Card, while a great idea, is not supported, and scanning the card for mp3s to play will lock up the player indefinitely so the card is merely a USB storage device. The Firmware update refused to work. The tiny screen wouldn't be so hard to look at if the resolution was not so poor. The player requires play lists to play mp3s (it will NOT play OGG) otherwise everything (even in directories) is dumped into a single listing. But you need to make playlists using third party software: the syncing software Creative provides tops out at 100 tracks in a play list. I guess no one listens to more than 100 tracks. The touch screen is a nice feature and I found the sensitivity adequate but the small size and weight feels awkward in the hand, unlike the ZEN. This player should be priced at half what it is since you get half what you would expect. This would have been a nice mp3 player 10 years ago. This is my last Creative MP3 player purchase.
