WOW Plus some.
I tend to over build for what I need in order to get some longevity from a build. This FX-8150 is mounted onto a MSI 990FXA motherboard. The performance is amazing, programs snap to life, pages are up instantly, A bit spendy but I'm hoping for 7 years from a build, that comes out to $25.71 per year or about $2.15 per month.

Great CPU Horrible and LOUD CPU Cooler
Fast CPU, 8 core 3.6 GHZ its amazing. The stock cooler is extremely loud and the CPU runs at 40 C at idle on the stock. Bought aftermarket CPU cooler 10-16 C idle.

Best AMD Ever
Bought this FX 8350 for $180 delivered. Used in a ASUS 5M97 rev2.0. Had and used Buffalo Cool Master Air Cooler. O.C. all 8 cores to 4.4 Ghz no problems. Lightening Fast. Passmark 8.0 score 10427 beat I7 3770K at half the price in 9 of 10 categories. Total score 2889 with AMD 6970 and 8 GB 2140 Mhz Ram.

It Good
I installed it on my brother's machine and it runs beautifully. I wish I would of invested the extra $70 for this 8-core processor instead of the quad-core but college budgets and all that.

Good Buy
This is a very good cpu for gamers and power users. It excels at multithreaded applications while doing mediocre on single threaded ones. Games like battlefield 3 run with 60fps solid (max settings) on stock frequency. If you do plan on running this chip stock then you will be pleased to know that turbo core works very well. The chip will boost itself to 3.9ghz and usually stay there with all cores while an application is running. However it rarely jumps the clock up to 4.2ghz. This chip is extremely easy to overclock and will go as fast as you want it. However this thing puts out alot of heat!!! It completely saturates my Noctua NH-D14 at 4.4ghz (1.38v) and the core temps spike to 55-60 load. Would recommend a good prefilled or custom loop water cooling system if you plan to take this chip above 4.5ghz. The price needs to fall a bit since the fx 8350 is $200 and the 8320 is $180. Both of which are about 10 to 20 percent faster than this chip.
