A big plus is that it uses standard USB cables (regular A with mini B to go into the HD case). If one gets lost, another one can be easily bought. My previous 2.5 HD case (from a competitor) used a custom plug, so a special order. --- Tip: get a second cable and leave one at home and one at work, so you do not need to carry cables --- Very easy to install my laptop drive (I used an eye glasses screw driver for the tiny screws). --- Better case design than the one I already have from a competitor. --- My computer gives enough power through 1 USB cable. --- I am a happy user.

Requires more than one cable to power and data tx/rx. Suggest Inwood for a more user friendly modle. If you want this make sure you have 2 USB ports open or a USB self powered hub because this will consume both ports and the power from both ports.

This is the absolute best buy as far as 2.5'' enclosures go. I have a 60gb hitachi 4200rpm hard drive in it and I do not need the extra power cable when I use it with my laptop. You are basically getting two high quality enclosures for the price of a mid-range enclosure. Looks great and functions like it should.
*BUT the screws that hold on the metal covers are too tiny. You need a very tiny philips head screwdriver to get them in. AND this delayed my order a few days because someone forgot to put the second enclosure in the box, and it had to be reprocessed.
