Perfect!

Used as a replacement for a wobbly, noisy old fan. Push pins worked fine. The fan is quiet and my CPU temps are stable. No problems at all.

You get what you pay for.

I bought this to replace a dead fan. The bracket that the dead fan to screw in to was the only bracket that I had. The new fan does not come with a bracket so I had to remove the push pins on the new bracket (Cut them off) and put the old screws on from the old fan. I was lucky that the old fan used E clips to hold the pins in place. Other than that the fan is quiet and keeping my CPU cool. This does come with thermal grease so you do not need to buy thermal grease.

excellent product

This cooling fan arrived promptly and installed easily without any issues. I used the thermal gel that was unexpectedly included with the fan which hastened the installation. Running nicely quiet and my motherboard is quite happy.

Pins, pins, pins

Ended up dumping the plastic pins and used washers and screws to secure it to the board. Seems to work properly now.

Great Value

My old fan had to be replaced. It was making so much noise, driving me crazy. I could hear it 30 feet away. This was a great replacement at a fabulous price. It took my son about 10 minutes to do the replacement job. This fan came with the thermal gel. We did order some, but it wasn't needed. I wish they had said so in the description, would have saved me a few bucks! This fan is much quieter than the old one, but it is not silent by any means. Maybe it is this processor? Anyhow, a very good value for this fan, would buy again.

Noisy

I bought this to replace a VERY noisy CPU fan. The price was right, and the noise is less, but I think it's certainly not as quiet as the description would suggest. It works, and it installed easily, but it's not 'quiet'.

Little hard to install

The pins are hard to seat. The first two times I tried, I wasn't able to get it fully seated. I was afraid that I would break the clips off. Eventually, I got it to work. Works fine! The CPU runs at 45C.

Very good product

Not the easier CPU fan installation, but runs well, efficient and not noisy.

Great value!

I have had this cooler installed for 2 years, eleven months and it has performed flawlessly. I removed it last month to give a good cleaning to the whole PC and broke one of the pins. Know how the pins work before install or removal. The pins break and there are no replacements. BUT! The price is cheap enough to get another-install it. Save the old for the pins next time, if you break one. I had no install issues with neither of them. If my processor does not include the cooler, I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Works great!

Don't be fooled by the low price! This is a great heatsink. I upgraded from a pentium dual core to a Q9450 Core 2 Quad and needed a better heatsink but didn't want to break the bank, I also wanted to avoid breaking my machine down to install a back plate on the motherboard. This little guy comes in a plain looking box but has a copper core and 4 pin connector for automatic fan control. Best of all it installed easily like a stock cooler. Noise is not a problem, just a low hum like you would expect.
