Surprised
I'm surprised how this works. I don't understand why I see many negative reviews but I went ahead to buy this after getting AP300 for inside. I bought AP600EX & this one SR600EX for the other building and installed AP first and signal was weak where I want laptop to work then added SR and signal became strong. No connection problems and it works just great. I bet those neg reviews did not use same brand to make them work or did not set them up right.

Had bad Power Supplies
bought two of these units worked well but after setting them up, both of the power supplies units quit working with no explaination or warning a few days later.

Stay Away
Within the last month, I've had 2 of these fail. They work for a few days and fail. Save your time and energy and look elsewhere.

See my earlier review without rating
Works great. Super distance without use of a matched access point, etc. Great signal reception and repeating. Easy setup, but does use its own SSID for the repeated signal. Using with PTZ outdoor camera and is lag-free. Only question is reliability - had to re-address once when the originating signal unit (another Amped 600 but indoor) had to be re-addressed. Summary: Works great, a little pricey.

Junk did not transmit 50feet
easy to setup but could not transmit 50feet We needed to only go about 60 feet from the closets spot I could put it. Absolute junk Dont waste you money.

Great Product with Outstanding customer service!!
Works as stated does a great job exstending my wireless network. Had one question I emailed in and it was ansered promptly. Was still having problems with the connection, with the help of the dial up customer service, we discovered that my main router needed relocating. After that my system was smoaking with high download speeds.

hate performance
i baught this item 2 weeks ago & was working fine for 2 days, then connection just keeps switching on and off. Couldn't stay connected for more then 10 minutes at a time & less if i happened to transfer anything larger then 100k-sec

Great Repeater - Very Long Range
Used this with the AP600EX pro AP and i must say i'm able to connect roughly a mile away. I'm sure it can go further considering that i'm still getting about 30Mbps down based on my speedtest results. I'm also thinking of getting their UA600EX to go even further. my application is for a building to building to outdoor application but i could see how this could be used for boats, RV, Parks offices and pretty much any long range wifi need. great products
