Installed this with Intel Celeron 3Ghz with 2mb of ram. and geforce card with DVI interface. Windows XP and downloaded patch from Kworldcomputer.com. Used ProgDVB software. The card runs my sg2100 Dish Mover and 76 cm Winegard dish perfectly. It is not advertised as Diseqc 1.2 capable but it works great with above software. Finds the birds on its own. As good as my Twinhan 1025 pci. Kworld has great tech. support unlike Twinhan. |

ok..bought this card, and installed it. Had problem with windows media center, so I emailed kworld support. Anyway, they nicely explianed that windows media center does not support Satellite TV signal, so I ended up using their AP, which btw, isn't that hard to use....infact I find it easier to control than Windows Media Center. |

This is quite a good deal with such low price. I got my product about 1 month after I receive it. I suppose they have to work on the problem with the retailers. The product works great, I get to watch TV and receive many FM radio as well! |

I purchased the DVBS100 for a new PC I had just built with Windows MCE. The card would not communicate with any software. The Kworld included software kept popping up an MPEG 2 filter error. After fighting this thing for hours trying to get it to work, I finally called Kworld tech support..........NO 800 NUMBER. After explaining my problem, I was told that the DVBS100 is not compatible with MCE, only standard XP home or XP prof. |

This is a good satellite card, but you have to have other programs to use it. I want to make this Clear it is not design to descramble Satellite TV. I am not saying you can not descramble Satellite TV. But you will need more then just the tuner card. There are several channels that run in the clear. As well as hundreds of FM radio station that are broadcasted on Satillite. |

This card does not work that great for satellite reception. I rate it as fair at best. Also, there was a $30 rebate on this from KWorld. I did all the documentation as required, but for the UPC, I cut the one off that was printed on the box. Never got the rebate. I e-mailed them and they said I sent in the wrong UPC, there was another one that was a sticker on the box. Never said that in the instructions for the rebate, so I figured the one printed on the box was the right one to send in. So Kworld ripped me off for $30. I will never buy one of their products again and will give them as much bad publiciy on the internet as possible. I reccommend, stay away from this company. Not a great product and they don't care about the customer. |
