Belkin sent me the wrong item the first time. After getting that straightened out & getting the proper item,I'm happy with it. This splitter works well.I use it for the same set of speakers between two different computers.

connectPC sound card to 22 guage speaker wires.
All PC sound card outputs (5.1 to 7.1) are spaced to close together to allow 22 gauge stereo speaker wire 3.5mm inputs to attach. These little Belkin flexible devices allow me to do this now so my new 22 gauge speaker wires will be run from my media PC to my receiver amp (35ft away). I only use one stereo 3.5mm output per device so it is just a pass through device and they are not being used as a splitter. I convert all HD audio in my PC (HD DVD & BluRay) and send it to my receiver as analog out to analog in at 7.1 speaker configuration. Movie sound is now completely awesome. CyberLink HD confirms the HD audio is being sent correctly.
