the systems we've assembled with Corsair tend to be higher end workstations and specialty servers. work fine no problems. I agree with all the posts regarding the really substandard instructions which come with these units ( they are really line drawings ) my suggestion to the mfg is to rework their included how to sheets to be photographs of step by step assembly for the Intel and AMD processors supported. a digital file? anyway I have found at least one error in the line drawings ... go figure. otherwise I am highly satisfied with the quality and performance of this line. used mostly with LGA 2011 platforms.

Functions perfectly once you figure out how to install. Packaged instructions are worthless, watch lots of YouTube videos to find out how all of the small parts function. The pump can be intermittently noisy. Though not actually that loud, just the loudest part of my system. I would recommend this product for entry into the liquid cooled market.

Great Cooling Product

This is a great product! It keeps my PC Super Cool and performance ready. The only thing this needs is more precise instructions. They are just awful. By the time someone figures out how to install the cooler, most people would have either returned it or modified the brackets. But otherwise, great product.

Overall good liquid cooler

Quiet pump + fan. Value wise good performance. Great budget minded item.

Corsair did a good job with this cooler the only thing I didn't like was the lackluster instructions.

Works Great!

Works great for me, i overclocked my 3570k to 4.2 and it hasn't gone over 75 yet. Just make sure you have the right size case for it, I couldn't get it to fit in mine. TAKE MEASUREMENTS!!

Liquid cooling at an affordable price.

It's true what others have said in their reviews that the unit is a bit tricky to install but there are demonstrations on youtube that show you how to do it. Once in it does a great job keeping things cool and quiet.

Good cooler for the price

Works well! 42 Celsius maxed out, 35 idle. AMD FX 8X. Install directions are a little vague, but the unit is so simple, anyone with any prior experience can figure it out without paperwork.

Do not over-tighten screws!

Ignore previous review about this not fitting 1155 socket, it does. Got mine this weekend and installed it on my i7-3770. Be VERY careful about not over-torquing the screws though. The base plate they supply that holds the tapped metal inserts that the screws engage is made of plastic. I over-torqued two of my screws, and now they spin freely. I may never be able to get the thing back off, but at least it works. It took me about 1.5 back-wrenching hours to get this thing on, although once it was on I realized the directions were actually pretty accurate, I just didn't understand them at the time. When you first screw the mounting bracket to the MB, only tighten the screws by 1 half turn (it's in the picture, but easily missed) otherwise you won't be able to fit the heat sink underneath the bracket and lock it in place.

Good Buy

Real happy with performance. Con: Brackets supplied in box will not fit 1155 socket. Lacked that info.. had to order h70 bracket kit rev2 to complete install.
