AMD FX-6100
CPU seems to be handling anything I can throw at it, But I didnt realize that its not a true 6 core CPU. Its actually 3 cores, With 2 divisions in each core. I bought it because I thought it was a true 6 core, But other than that its working great. The cheap fan they include isnt amazing, But its helping keeping the CPU cool next to 2 120mm fans. Idles around 85F and Ive maxed it out to 130F. Im sure it will run hotter if I could truly push it as far as it can go. Microsoft rates this processor at a 7.3 on a scale of 1.0-7.9.

Solid CPU for the price
The benchmarked performance isnt anywhere near an intel chip but for everyday applications and the price its hard to beat.

Third one and all are good
Have now purchased three of these for myself, my wife and a friend since mid 2012. All are running fast and quit using the included fan. No overheating issues and always stable. Would recommend this to anyone for stable performance at a great price. I still recommend using a thermal paste with any new processor.

AMD stands for stability
I bought this as part of a bundle. I have never had issues with AMD procs. Tops in price to performance, value, and stability. I hope AMD remains strong in the marketplace.

6 cores vs 4 cores
at first i was planning on going with the intel 4 core cpu but with the motherboard and cpu it was hitting around $280. i was never really a AMD fan but i took the risk and gave them a try. I will say that i am not shocked on how easy everything was to setup with the paste that came with the cpu. i will say that having this 6 core cpu i am happy with it and very happy i picked it to save money.

Incredible value, and doesn't disappoint
Not much else to say that hasn't already been said here. This is the fastest CPU I've ever owned, and my first six-core. It pairs perfectly with the ASUS AM3+ board I also purchased here. Definitely recommend this for anyone, but especially for budget minded gamers.

Great product, excellent performance
Fastest processor I have ever used in my builds. Six cores and ample cache, for the price cant be beat. Like lower power consumption and heat production compared to 125wt processors. Using Asus mobo and Win 7- love it
