Great product at an excellent price
This is my first AMD processor and I must say that I'm very happy with the product. I just completed my first build (in Afghanistan) and I must say that this processor is easy to install and is extremely fast. I even overclocked it right out of the box after a 20 minute internet tutorial. I took everything back down to factory defaults because I just don't need it overclocked - I just wanted to see if I could do it. I like everything about this processor with 1 exception: the CPU cooling fan is a bit loud. When the CPU starts to warm up, that fan really gets going and is pretty loud. Other than that, no complaints at all!

Great in Windows 8

great cpu
I got this in a bundle pack which the cpu killed 2 mortherboards. just got a sabertooth 990fx with 16gb of ram cpu is at 3.89 wow love it.

Haven't been able to use.
I bought 1 with an asus Sabertooth 990 MB, and have not been able to get the system stable. I loaded windows 7 32 bit OS, worked Fine, I installed win 8 and system froze during load and gave a CPU error, I reset the bios etc, and still nothing. I bought a new processor, and same results, probably the Motherboard.
