I recently order this camera and I think that it works great for the price! $100.00 for a 3 MP camera. It is tricky to get use to at first but what isn't? I agree with the other people, ya have to get a bigger Memory card to take full function as a video camera and other features. The Camera BROKE after a month

Man this camera ROCKS!!!! I Bought it to use as a helmet Camera And as a second Camcorder to my Mini dv samsung. i film Dh hill and freeride mtb'n and this thing is tough. it been through monsune season at Mt Sainte anne que, and was drenched and still filmed everything... i've crashed with it and smacked it on numerous trees, branches and what not... and it still keep on filming. So far ive filmed well over 5 - 10 hours of action video using this as a helmet cam. All my friend love it and want there own. It does take some creativity in mounting to a helmet. i fabricated a fully adjustiable bracket. the only issues i've had were minor and delt more with me learning to use the many features on the camera, for example the white balance and macro. but now its all good. The only other problem with this little gem is that it save to a ''.asf'' file. which needs to be converted to be edited. but ''window media encoder'' is the perfect ''free'' program for it. love th

I would give it a 3.5 if they let me. The blue exterior and LED illumination gets a lot of ''Wow that's cool'' responses from people. I got it because my daughter wanted a digital camera & MP3 player. Menu navagation is controlled by a toggle. You have to push in to choose options. If you have big hands, let the kids operate it. The MP3 player is good and only limited to the size SD disk you put in. Sounds like a cell phone ringtone with the external speaker. Sounds great with the headphones provided. The still camera demands perfect light (same goes for black and white shots). Anything less, the colors are off. The special fx are nothing to write home about either. The video feature is convenient but also requires perfect light for nothing better than web quality. The webcam is its second best feature after the MP3 player. For the price, it is a nice toy, but don't buy it if you are looking for an all in one unit. This is not high quality. It's a cute mesh of mediocre technologies.

I got this exact camera in silver and i must say its not worth it. Spend the extra Buck and get either a camera or a video camera. Most cameras have video capability anyway. Picture quaility is okay if you are outside with a lot of sun light. Get recharable Batteries if your going to buy this camera. It eats batteries so quickly video quaility is horrible.

This Is an excellent camera for the price. My friends and family have all been impressed by the quality of the pics and video, although even after adjusting all settings, it does does not do well in low light situations.A double firing flash might help it's low light problems. The camera is also awkward to hold with big hands, and could have used a tripod camera mount on the bottom. Nonetheless, with adequate lighting the camera will take sharp, color-balanced pictures that will please most consumers.
