Worst Ever
It cannot dial at all. Tried to contact the technical team and the web service reports internal server error. Wrote to the webmaster and never got a reply

Very Good Deal
Works good on Windows XP. No problems yet. The only complaint was delivery. It took almost two weeks to get it.

WOW
This modem is blazing fast. It can achieve speeds up to 56Kbs. That is like a half million bits per second. That just blows my mind...... Love them, but tired of the review requests.

Bad modem for me
I can only say what the modem did that I got . it made my system crash about 15% of the time when I would log off the net my screen would go blue and I would have to reboot my system so I have to say the modem did not work right

Not Windows 7 32 or 64 bit
I had seen in the description compatible with Windows 7. There are NO drivers to make it work for Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit. The manufacturer has nothing for updates for it. It's Ok for XP and earlier. Wasted $13 since I already had a working model for XP Pro.

Poor choice
I bought the 56HP modem from Best Data a while back and was unable to get it to connect at faster than 31.2K. I recently bought a new computer and am trying the modem with again. Still not able to connect at better than 31.2Kbps. I have 3 other computers with modems 5 to 10 years old and all of them can connect at over 40K over the same telephone lines. Now the modem is causing a phone line problem.

This modem is a junk the box says for win98se,me,2000,xp is dose not work in win98se and me there are no drivers on the cd for win98se,me,2000 i would not even give this for free let alone pay for it
