Doesn't work all the time
Locks up if you accidentally hit two keys at once. Very annoying. I could not live with it and had to get a new USB mouse and keyboard.

Great for Older Keyboards
The converter was just what I wanted. It enabled me to use one of my many old keyboards with a serial connection to my new computer. It works just fine for this application.

didn't work with my bar code scanner
Despite the words converter and bar code scanner in the title, this cord did not work with the Metrologic PS 2 bar code scanner we have.

It works
When my notebook's micro-mouse broke, I decided to use one of several PS-2 mice as a replacement. I needed a USB to PS-2 adapter. The Sabrent one works with my HP ProBook just fine. Good value.

Good device
This converter allowed my old Symbol Tech hand-held scanners to work as hoped. Other similar devices available on the net did not work with scanner.

This converter does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it well. The shipping was fast and the packaging was great. overall this is a great product at a good value for anyone who needs a ps2 to usb converter.

For me, only 1 of the ports worked
For myself, on Win7 64-bit, only one of the two ports would ever work. Fortunately, that's all I needed it for. If I plugged the PS2 keyboard AND mouse in as intended, they wouldn't work or only one of them would work. So I left one of the PS2 pieces hanging and use the other for my PS2 keyboard - then just plug my mouse right into the solo PS2 port on my PC. So I am disappointed in the product....but at least it sort of works...?

Works OK with adjustments
Windows 7 SP1 64 bit recognized device in any port during the initial device driver install. I am using it only for a PS2 mouse. I found out every time after boot up (no matter what port I use) the mouse icon freezes. I disconnect the mouse device (converter + mouse used) wait for the beep disconnect, then reconnect and beep is heard. Mouse is restored to normal movement. I only purchased the converter to use with my scroll wheel PS2 mouse for playing SH5 for zoom map navigation. The zoom feature does not working normally with my USB trackball mouse with SH5 but works in SH3 and SH4. Same symptoms happens if I connect the mouse through the PS2 keyboard converter end. Some other users have stated better results from PS2 keyboard end with a mouse. No difference.
