My only complaint is the lack of volume control on the headset, and that it doesn't work well with Linspire (Linux OS). Other than that, this is a super buy, and I plan on getting another for my son.

Nothing but Compliments! Like previously said, it seems like you have made a mistake when you first pick them up, yet they have excellent sound quality and are best headphone i have ever bought, Excellent quality and much improvement over my basic stereo headphone, Great base and clear highs.

This headset is awesome. The sound quality is as good as surround sound systems that cost much more. Much better than I expected and you can not beat this price.

This is the absolute best bang for the buck product I've ever bought. I bought these to replace my onboard sound and all I can say is WOW. I was expecting a small sound upgrade with crappy 5.1, but what I got was amazing. In battlefield 2, you can tell where a tank is, where infantry are, everything. I think the bass is incredible too, although some people don't, Its got a subwoofer, and it works!!! Everything has just got a deeper feel to it, and thinggs just seem to have more ''kick'' The only downside is that on really high volumes it sounds like crap, but those volumes will practically blow your eardrums out anyway, so don't worry. I guess all I have to say is it is a great product for a cheap price.

If you are looking for a surround sound headset that blows your mind away these are not it but if you are looking for a cheep and good sounding headset with 5.1 this is a good one to buy. I tried these on 2 differant pc's and surprisingly they sounded better on my newer asus motherboard. I dont think that it could have anything to do with the soundcard but mabey its the power supply even though they are both 350 watt. This headset is really lacking in bass my $19.00 Koss earbuds have more bass but they are crisp sounding and I have yet to have any interferance or static. I recomend these if you dont want to spend much money on a quality headset.

Taking these out of the box, you might think you've made a mistake. They feel very light in the hand and instructions are no more than a leaflet. You will be pleasantly surprised after you connect and get the PNP set up out of the way. The sound is very good; the phones are light on the head and do a good job of blocking ambient noise. The bass response is very good, and the automatic limiter is appreciated after you blow up something big in a video game.
Negatives: No “on board” volume control, you have to adjust the system volume properties.
Well worth the money for gaming or DVD/Music consumption.

These headphones don't look like much at first glance, but they're very comfortable to wear and sound great! The bass is not overpowering like other USB powered headphones and sound just right. I just wish there was a volume control on the cable. Otherwize it was a no brainer to connect (there's actually nothing to install) and I love them! Sound quality is amazing, good bass and very comfortable to wear.

Well I waited with great hopes...surround headphones...USB ! When they showed up my first impression was ''these seem cheesy''. Very lightweight, seemed hollow and include no software so you wont be able to control every chanel. But to my surprise they are very comfortable and sound quite good and dont need software. Windows XP picked them right up. A great buy for 40 bucks plus shipping of course.
