Good Product but needs 2 more features

Only 1 problem, LCD monitor was inop and had to be replaced by Lorex. No hassle RMA and unit was replaced very quickly. System worked as advertised after this fix. 2 additiional features would make it an excellent product. Needs to have a MAC address so it can be accessed via the web without Skype. Secondly Lorex need to provide extension cords for the camera power cable. I had to fabricate the extension cords myself because I needed more that 6 ft to my reach power outlet. Could not use a standard electric extension cord for this purpose because of the location of the cable run which could only accomodate the size of the camera cord and had no room for the transformer.

Just tried it

Set it up (following the quick-start guide) in about 5 minutes & it worked right off! The cameras were already mated to the receiver so no hassle. Not yet installed or tried the Skype connection but hopeful. Good system but a bit pricey.

Simple setup, good value, minor flaws

This is a very easy system to install. The directions are clear and with the wireless cameras, there are no cables to run. One the two included cameras has trouble switching between day and night mode. Triggering the motion sensor or unplugging the camera fixes it. The other camera works flawlessly. The field of view is narrow - the cameras do not work well to cover a small room. The intercom feature is excellent. The included screen is clear and works well. Some functions can only be controlled with the remote, so don't lose it.

Verrry Good

I am still learning how to use the product. I like it and it makes me feel safer. I am an elderly single living alone so it is good for me and probably for some other seniors. My son is the one who told me about your company.
