I've had mine several years now, just replaced the batteries. This unit has never let me down protecting my home server, qnap and other misc. peripherals, highly recommended.

I purchased this after a lightning strike killed

My motherboard. I sit on the top of a hill and lightning strikes all around. I have a whole house surge protector but that did not do any good for my computer. This has easy software, cheap replacement batteries, and my current load is only 22%. With all the hard drives and dvd drives I have that is amazing.

I'm no computer wizzard, so i'm always pretty helpless whenever my computer starts to act up on me. when my computer starts to act funny or sometimes it just shuts off by itself, i usually assumed that its due to some sort of virus (i got no idea..). Little did i know, ever since I purchased this Opti-UPS ES1500C unit and had it hooked up to my computer system, all the funny stuff that my computer used to do suddenly stopped. I love how my computer is performing and funny how i thought all those ''spike'' ''surges'' were actually computer virus. thanks Opti-UPS!!

This is simply the best UPS out there for my needs. I've personally tried other UPS's (mostly name brands...), but most UPSs did not meet my expectations performance-wise. Due to the frequent power disturbances in my area, I always had to worry about protecting my expansive electronic equipments, and after many UPS trials(and a fried CPU + ruined PS3), I conclude that Opti-UPS ES1500C is the best UPS unit and it really does what it says to do!

This is a great UPS. My favorite thing is that it comes with 8 outlets with backup power and surge protection. My previous UPS's would have half the outlets with backup power and surge protection and the other half with only surge protection. It also comes with a USB cable to attach to your computer if you like for management as well as a network port and monitor connection. Also once the power goes out and it starts beeping you can shut the beeping off by pressiong the power button quickly (if you hold it down for 2 seconds you power it off) - my other UPS just keeps on beeping which is really annoying. Great product! Great value!

This ups is a little heavy, but that is expected for a good ups. 980 watts load capacity, and has saved my keister numerous times (power spikes / outages) I got my comp, monitor, speakers, modem, and room for alot more. ... maybe some high energy weapon, lord knows it handles what I got with ease. Another thing that I like about this ups is the price. The price is very GOOD! I'd compared with some other brands with same features and this is the best I found. Unbeatable price...excellent!

Great UPS with all those functional features plus a nifty software at a reasonalbly priced package. It's definitely an offer you can't refuse.

This is one of the best UPS backups I've ever worked with. Ive used several different brands in the past and this one surpasses them all. It has gone through all kinds of power failure situations (blackouts, brownouts, flickers) with no problem. I highly recommend this product.
