With never ending storage needs I decide to go for the latest in the network storage drive category and found out that Iomega StorCenter px6-300d would suit my requirements. I placed an order online and the package reached me within 2 days. I along with my partner was confronted with the job of setting up this device. Though the device looks complicated with its big black box, setting up the device was not at all difficult. The storage manager connects to the appliance and provides instant access to the web console. We installed disks and configured it for RAID. After this as recommended we installed the updated firmware and the copies started to fly. After experiencing the performance first hand we concluded that this is the best NAS drive for high performers.

I am a devoted Iomega fan and am in possession of their collection like the Helium portable drive, SuperSpeed SSD flash drive and MX2 Media player. This is the fourth device I have come in contact with. Well the px6-300 network storage drive is not for my personal use, this was recently purchased by my employer for our company. By chance I got an opportunity to maintain the device for a week as our IT administrator was on leave. In the desktop NAS version the px6-300d is the maximum you can get in the market and the design is very modern. We have installed Seagate 2TB drives in the 6bays and the px6 supported these very well. You can also add Seagate 3TB drives if you have more data to store. The cloud technology was already set up and this helps us to keep in touch with our freelancers who work across the globe. Good to keep you connected all the time.
