Excellent laptop
This is an outstanding laptop for the price. Beautiful 1080p display with a sturdy hinge, 2GB memory video card, and excellent battery life. The minor drawback is the battery is not removable, but looks to be secured with a few screws. The multi-media trackpad lacks sensitivity, but I use an external mouse anyway. Buy it! You will not be disappointed.

This is a grate product
The quality is excellent - best price for this kind of performance in and 18.4 in laptop. It runs Skyrim on the 1920X1080 resolution with no problems. It get a little warm in the GPU area. The detachable remote is very cool. I would buy another one of these if my wife would let me!

Does everything I need it to do.
I bought the Acer Aspire AS8951G-9630 for gaming and day to day business. It is exceptional as an online gaming system, even with high activity MMOs. The Acer Aspire AS8951G-9630 has replaced my desktop, and is faster and much more versatile.

Easily the fastest computer I have ever used!
Received my order exactly as notified; very happy with the free shipping. Item was well packaged, easy to unpack and has very clear instructions on how to get it running. Acer factory bloat was HUGE; Over 35GB with the OS! Easy to delete all the garbage, however. I burned the recovery discs first thing. Also, this does not come with the SATA cable for the second HDD! I called Acer customer service, no you gotta go buy it. I installed a Patriot Torqx 2 64 GB SATAII SSD and 8GB of Crucial memory (now has 16GB) and this thing is a ROCKET! The screen is 1080P HD, the Bluetooth is FAST! USB 3.0, 1394, on and on; you can't get a better machine for the $ PERIOD! I would buy this again in a heartbeat, its that good. Just sad I cant give it 6 stars!
