Gets us there
One factory setting was wrong, after fixing it with Magellan's support line it seems like a great little machine. Easy to use and directions are clear.

Extremely Disappointed
I have 2 Magellan 4250, both still work but the maps are outdated with no lifetime map updates.I liked the audiable feature if you exceed the speed limit but it only works if the GPS knows the speed limit, this feature is very limited. System is extremely slow. I will not recommend the 5145T-LM to anyone.

Very disappointed!!!!!!
Nice looking display but ridiculously slow!!!! If you miss a turn, it takes a very long time for it to adjust. In city driving I managed to go 5 blocks before it adjusted AND it doesn't tell you it is adjusting so you don't know you messed up. Takes forever (20-30 seconds) to get prompted for address after selecting the address icon. Same with e.g. Selecting settings. Once the selected item comes up it seems ok. The other big gripe is that it keeps wanting to go back to the original route if you decide to deviate from it instead of calculating a new route.

Very disappointed
I bought this GPS on sale for a great price. Was delivered quickly. Fired it up and noticed it was quite slow. Takes forever (5-10 seconds) to get prompted for address after selecting the address icon. Same with e.g. Selecting settings. Once the selected item comes up it seems ok. The other big gripe, and why we returned it, is that it keeps wanting to go back to the original route if you decide to deviate from it instead of calculating a new route. Looking to replace my garmin with a new garmin or tomtom now...

Great GPS
Worth the money no problems. Had a 4000 series for years and simply upgraded. Tried another manufactured but it froze the first day. I will always purchase Megallan in the future. Lifetime maps and traffic was a real selling point. Downloading and installing was extremely simple. If you do not require all the bells this unit is great and gets you from point A to B. I did not need bluetooth or voice commands. Its a GPS not a phone......
