Great product
I bought this as a present for my sister, and wanted to pre-load a lot of pictures on it for her so when she opened it, she could plug it right in. Very easy to load pictures onto the 4GB internal memory - either from the connection to the PC, or from a SD card and using the remote (it did take some time transfering photos 1 by 1 this way, but was easy to do). Another easy way is to get an SD card, load the pictures on it, and then just plug that into the frame and play the photos from there. Since this was a gift, I didn't want to leave my SD card in. Excellent quality picture display and easy to run thru the menus with the remote. I have my own digital frame, which is not close to being as easy to run as this one. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice size digital frame that's pretty easy to operate.

disappointing does not have copasity alluded to
When i got it i tried to load pictures into the suppodedly 4 gb memory . it would not take it called viewsonic and was told it only works with a memory card. I sent it back and went to Brookstone and purched theirs with a copasity of storing up to 3500 pictures. cost $100, but it does the job

Excellent!
works very well -- reads from SD card and USB thumb drive -- both very convenient. I even tried loading a movie from my thumb drive as an experiment and it worked!

nice but a pain
great quality but it was a pain in the rear to load photos.. had to call them but they were good over the phone

Knocked my socks off!
I opened the box, plugged in a flash drive, connected the power adapter, and had a slide show going in less than one minute. With background music from the flash drive no less. There is a learning curve for showing videos. HD videos tend to show with no audio, but if you read and follow the directions for video parameters it works great. I admit it, I did not read the directions... I think I will buy a second one, this one is going to be a birthday present.
