Great replacement

My son built me a new computer, but the power supply didn't work. I ordered this to replace the non-working one, and though I did not know what I was doing, was able to get this one in and it worked.

Great Replacement

I bought this PW to replace an older PW in a old desk top case I bought for a special build. The case came with a old Pentium 4 PW. Works great use it for my main TV.

quiet but not enuf SATA connectors

I bought this unit because it claimed to be quiet and it was much quieter than the unit it replaced. But not a good choice if you are building a new computer in 2013. Only has 2 SATA power connectors... and they are on one cable only 3 inches apart. so they couldn't even reach my two SATA devices in an ATX minitower case. No flexibility in device placement and no expansion allowed for. Make sure you get some molex to SATA power adapters.

ok product for price

this is definatly for a top mounted psu case. the wires were VERY short and had to order extentions for my MB. sata cables are also short and i had to move my dvd drive to the bottom slot and HDD to the top in order to reach both. Should have been in description. other than that, great psu.

I'm going to assume that you know what you want when buying this thing. It's working fine, i got it July 3rd at the price of 24.99. Great deal. One thing i can say is, i think it's designed to be mounted on the bottom but i mounted it on top and it worked out awesome (improved airflow in case etc..). I did however run out of SATA connections...i had an extra hard drive so the 2 that it came with were used up. None left for my Disk Drive, easy fix. I just bought a molex to SATA converter and it has been working fine. The black is beautiful!

Not the best but good

So this is a nice all black power supply and should run any mid range computers. It is quiet and runs well. Also the lifetime warranty is amazing so make sure you register. The only really big problem is that this power supply is more for top PSU mounted cases, The cpu power connectors will not reach the cpu power connector without an extension. So know that before you buy, that was my only real problem with this PSU.
