Third Magellan and still a fan
This is the 3rd Magellan I've owned and I still like it. This one has a larger screen which is nice. The way the plug fits into the frame was a bit odd to figure out at first and not so nice for me since I frequently take it on the road for use in a rental car. Other than that, it's a nice unit and a good deal for the money.

Great upgrade
Upgrade from an older unit (they stop working when you drop them into a bucket of water). Been using it for about a month. Works great out of the box, no-brainer to set up and use. Quite accurate - shows a lot of minor and private roads. It also shows at least one road in my area that doesn't exist. I gave it a 4 for performance because I'm unable to get the Magellan Content Manager software to recognize it.

VERY GOOD BUT HAS 1 FLAW
THE ONLY REASON I GIVE IT 4 STARS IN PERFORMANCE IS THAT IT CAN NOT SEE ONE-WAY STREETS BUT BESIDE THAT I THINK IT IS AMAZING I HAVE HAD IT FOR 2 MONTHS I HAVE NOT LOADED THE UP DATED BUT THAT IS AT LEAST 2YEARS AWAY THIS IS MY 2 SECOND MAGELLAN AND THAT LASTED 5 YEARS BEFORE I DROPPED DOWN THE BASEMENT STEPS

Great Deal
good gps. Cons: only thing the FREE Updates on maps are NOT the lastest that is out there. I also have another model that you have to buy updates and seems like maps are about a year behind.

DAMN good GPS, from a professional driver.
I drive for a living, and needed a new GPS. I got this one on a great sale, and HATED it at first. Within an hour I realized that it was far superior to my TomTom. The ONLY downside is the inability to change voice. Everything else, from user interface to design is intuitive and well done. Give it a chance, you'll be hooked quickly...

Works great once you get past the hurdles
Bought a rrefurb for $80. Registration is a hassle. A few more minutes spent designing the mount would have helped in that whether mounting on windshild or dash, unit faces into the the sun or street lights. Unit is very intuitive & user friendly. Download is the opposite...help is non-existant & still can't figure out how to get updated maps.
