Can't recommend
This has to be the single worst purchase I have ever made. I cannot recommend this model. Functions are slow to respond if at all. The interface with Netflix is a joke at best.

Not bad given the price
Reviews pretty accurate. Remote response is slow and it does freeze every now and then (just unplug); but recent software update seems to make it more responsive. Wireless reception not as strong as my Powerbook; but perhaps that is to be expected at this price. No real complaints.

Heat issue
The unit can not be put on top of any other unit that generates heat. The video will not operate even though you get sound. No mention of this is in the instruction manual.

get new batteries for remote
don't use the wimpy batteries that came with the unit. change out to new alkiline batteries for much longer range and better response. set works great.

No more network cable!
Got tired of looking at the network cable so I could stream movies, so upgraded to this one, easy to setup the wi-fi on my network, no more cables

Works as it should
I needed a simple wi-fi enabled device for Netflix for my spaz of a mother and I didn't want to spend much. This was the best unit I could find to do that, let alone a Blu-ray Player. Very simple remote and it functions, that's all I can ask.

Pretty good!
Works as described. Easy as any to hook up to WIFI. I only have used to stream Netflix but I look forward to discs.

remote wouldn't work
The remote that came with my player only worked when it was about an inch away from the sensor. And when it did work it was very slow to respond. Others might have had good luck with this player but it didn't work well for me.

No Problems at All
Have had the unit for a little over a month now and absolutely no problems. Noise level from drive on my unit is very low. Easy to set up and connected to Wi-Fi immediately. Good unit at a good price
