Simply the best Laptop mouse out there! once try it you will see what I mean. Smooth, accurate, excellent bat. and storage. The one downside; its a bit pricy.

Great product. This is my second Logitech notebook mouse and both have been awesome. This one is much more comfortable than the other brands I have tried out. Also uses minimal battery power so no frequent battery swaps. Took a little time getting used to the scroll pad versus the usual wheel but now I love it.

After having done quite a bit of research, the Logitech V500 proved to be the best notebook mouse I could find. It is compact yet comfortable -- I have relatively large hands (easily cup a basketball) yet I've used it hours at a time every day for the past month with no discomfort.
The fact that it turns itself off when collapsed is a nice feature, and the storage of the antenna is an intelligent solution as well -- although the Microsoft mouse has a similar feature, the antenna in the Logitech is much smaller, less obtrusive, and there is a smaller chance of it accidentally being knocked out, since it stows inside (not under) the mouse.
The touchpad scroll wheel took a little getting used to, and you can accidentally activate the horizontal scroll -- however, this happens so rarely that it's not an issue. Because there are minimal moving parts (the buttons and the mouse cover are a single piece), there is very little chance of breakage unless you really try. GREAT buy for $30

I did a lot of research and found that the Logitech V500 was the wireless mouse that I wanted. Not only did TigerDirect offer the best price, they also offered the most information, photos, and the fastest shipping. I was surprised to receive my order on thursday when I had placed it on tuesday. The Logitech is very sleek in looks and very easy to use, after getting used to scrolling without the wheel. Receiver able to be stored when not being used also a big selling point. I use wired Logitech on my desktop so I new that quality was there. I recently switched over to Apple from windows based computers and use new V500 on Mac Ibook. The V500 was cheaper and easier to use than Apple wireless mouse.
