For what this costs above the coreded version, it is so worth it. Auto turn off to save battery life, over 100 hrs of use. Easy to setup and easy to store out of the way. Build quality is excellent, has nice weight in the hand and easy to reach all buttons, which have a crisp feel. The floaty D pad really does float, but works great. |

i'm using it for PES2010 and NFS and its works great .. very long battery life and good buttons
the bad is the analogs has corners. Highly recommended. |

Long battery life and ergonomic shape fits nice in your hands. The driver CD has a nice utility that tweaks the WinXP game controls properties for your gamepad. Another great product from Logitech!

For older games which support direct-input (emulated keyboard/mouse) this controller is great. Newest games tend to support "x-input": this controller is not recognized and requires extensive tedius button/stick setup for each game. Logitech has not kept on the ball with downloadable profiles for new games, or it wouldnt be such an issue. If You're looking for a controller that will PNP with newest games the Chillstream (wired) is the only Logitech controller currently x-input compatible, or go with the microsoft xbox for windows pads if you want wireless. I found out the hard way. Logitech product specs do not mention these compatibility issues and only after purchase I saw games like Bioshock and Crysis weren't recognizing the gamepad did I venture into Logitech's tech support forums where the issue is spelled out. |
