Works Great!
Everything works just like I want it to added 2 hard drives and 1 DVD player and have option to add one more hard drive or cd dvd drive. exactly what I was looking for, with no problem installing and setting up, worked right out of the box.

I recieved this card, and it worked right out of the box, I have no complaints at all about it...A great add-on if you need additional connectors for IDE...

Works great!
I got the card and installed it in the computer. Didn't work like the instructions said so had to fall back on my experience and knowledge as a tech. First, I pulled all the PCI cards out and reinserted one by one till they all were recognized. Then, did a repair on Win XP cause the OS wouldn't see it. Once I did that all works well and outperforms the Promise Ultra 66 that it replaced. Another thing is it does a pass-thru to the BIOS so I can see each hard drive and choose the one I want to boot! That way I can start the PC with either Win XP or Linux. BTW, Linux didn't have any problems at all with the card.

Did not work
I tried intalling it on a PC with windows XP. I had two IDE hard drives on the IDE port of the motherbord and I needed to connect a IDE CD drive. The PC would not boot with the card installed in it. I tried updating the bios, still not working so I returned the card. I will buy a SATA CD drive instead and connect it directly to the motherboard. It will cost about the same.

Good Product
Works well with my new custom PC. Not alot to configure with but works as expected. I believe you can use one HDD or other IDE device per connection. Still alright for the most part.

Beware bad product
Beware bad product . Randomly works. Website does not have proper drivers. Better off using a Promise Technology card. That one works.

Works fine if you update both the Bios and Drivers
That controller card was a pain. As long as the hard drive was connected to the controller card, my system would not boot. The brand new shrink wrapped box claims it is Windows 7 compatible but yet the BIOS version was from 2005 (ver 3.2.10). Sabrent's latest driver on their website was for Windows XP?!?!?! I went to Silicon Image's website as they are the chip maker and got the latest BIOS and Software driver. I disconnected the Hard Drive from the Controller card, installed the updated BIOS for AMD64 and the Software Driver. That did the trick. Now BIOS and Windows sees the hard drive.

MEH!!!!!
this product needs a bit of help... i installed it on a 733 mhz pentium 3 machine with an ASUS motherboard so as to get aroun d the drive size limitations on the bios ---turns out i didnt have to AND that when i powered on the machine the Sabrent Card's onboard Bios messed with my OWN motherboards BIOS to make it report an incorrect PCI Bus speed to the MAIN BIOS which caused the POST to hang this was a permanent error and forced me to take other measures which included not using the Sabrent card
