I would not recommend
Quality is barely good enough for watching, NOT recording! Setup was bad every time, primarily sound troubles.

Very Good Item
I purchased this item so i could connect my Gaming console to my computer using the Composite AV in. I have not used it for the TV tuner feature; however this product has met all of my needs. The installation was easy, and at first i had trouble recording, but with a software re-install, the problem no longer existed. This is all you need in a Tuner Card.

wasted my time and money
I purchased this card only to use as video capture, to put some old VHS tapes to DVD. It uses Nero Burning software, but in my case all it will do is format the dvd and then close out the disc, so entirely useless. Contacted Nero, no help.

OK for analog only and Linux
The chipset in the card is well supported in Linux and, in fact, seems to work OK in my setup. My PC is Linux only and the setup was flawless. I am not using the tuner since we have a Verizon FIOS setup and the tuner isn't being used but rather are using this plugged into the composite and stereo outputs of the FIOS analog adapter box. CPU utilization is moderate and the view is fairly crisp in TVTime.

Works as I expected
Had some difficulty getting WXP driver for the product, but customer service provided what I requested so that everything I expected is available.

CHEAP card
it was a bit of a fight to get it to work, and when it did, it just picked up the local channels even with the coaxial hooked up. now i still have to get a cable box. though, you can't beat the price

Nothing but static so far
S video in works but so far, I have not been able to get a consistent picture on windows XP when hooking up to cable. The picture comes through but the sound is just static. I had an AIW card before this that was working fine so it's not the cable. Trying with Windows 7 later this week.

One of the poorest products
Works fine on channels 8 and above - sadly there are several channels below 8 - ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX that are of some importance, otherwise I guess it's ok. Wouldn't buy another one and if it had cost more.

I use this card for our livecams, that is the only reason I use it, for that purpose only, it works great. Can't beat the price.

Good deal but didnt work
I bought 4 items this time around motherboard,processor,TV tuner card, and a video card, the only thing that worked was the processor everything else either didn't work or was not compatible with one another...gonna have to think about ordering from them again.
