Solid Switch
We had an older 24pt netgear router, but when we were upgrading our server to one with gigabit speed, we redid our network with cat 6 and this router. SMOOTHEST SWITCHOVER EVER. It just works.

Worth the money
The switch is very much plug and play. It does have a fan but its not any louder then a performance PC with all it's fans going. Now is it something I would want right under my feet all day? No but if its in a rack you wont notice it any more then anything else. The network speed in my network increased greatly. I was running on an Linksys WRT600N (wireless and only 4 ports) alone and just switching out cables as needed (Not any fun). I would recommend this product to a friend as of right now, but as for how long it will last that will be the test that only time will tell.

Definitely Plug n Play. No configuration or setup. You can easily see which cables are running at 100 rather than 1000.

Great Product !
Replaced 1 year old Linksys 2016 with this unit. Used in heavy traffic internal network environment. Saw immediate improvement in data transfer rates, quality and stability. Excellent performance for the price.

Defective products
I bought this unit to integrate with existing switch. It turns out that there is a known defect in certain lots (based on serial number) which causes the switch to crash. I have just paid twenty five dollars shipping to replace the unit under warranty with the manufacturer. If these products are known to be defective they should not be sold at all but returned to the manufacturer!

Great Value
Installed this switch 2 weeks ago. Installation was a breeze...just plug it it. Noticed a good improvement in our network speed as compared to our old Dell 100mbps switch. Great Value!
