The subject says it all. When I got the switch it was bad. I contacted Netgear for a replacement but all their options are $20 in shipping before or after you get the switch. For a 30 dollar switch I have to pay an extra 20. This is my last Netgear product. Hello DLink and Juniper. |

This is my second purchase of the same switch due to expansion of my home office network. I was given fast service, setup was a snap and I like the color-coded lights to indicate 100 or gigabit speed. I've had no problems at all with either of these switches. Great product for a wonderful price! |

Don't waste your time and money. The warranty is worthless. We had an AC Adapter for one of these units that was DOA right out of the box. After wasting 2 hours talking to their New Delhi warranty crew (1.5 hours on hold), they wanted us to ship the Adapter back before they would replace it. It costs more to ship the adapter back than it's worth and the fact the Adapter was defective to begin with indicates very poor quality control. This is not the first time we've had warranty issues with Netgear equipment and we've noticed a growing failure rate. We'll be switching to a different manufacturer. |
