Last crimper you'll ever buy.

I spent $58.00 for a Rosewill network tool kit thinking I made a good decision, but after several failed terminations with the crimper, I discovered I wasted my money, so I got this Paladin Crimpall 8000. What a relief to have a working termination every time. I didn't give a lower rating for only coming with the RJ45 dieset, because you can buy the others separate if you want to. Great Product :-)

Perfect crimp every time

I've been crimping all types of connectors for eons and I always had problems with RJ-45 connectors. With the old cheap crimping tools I used to buy, I had to put so much muscle power in it that my hands. Plus, I had to double check my connector to see if all pins were crimped properly... and even them, I regularly ended up with non-working connectors or even worse, intermittent problems. I finally got around to buying a more expensive tool. Let me tell you it's night and day! No longer to I have to use muscle power to make sure the crimp was good. It's a perfect connector every single time, period. It confirms that you usually get the quality you pay for. The only reason I put only 4 stars for features is that it only crimps RJ-45 whereas my old one used to also do RJ-11 RJ-12. But in the end, I'd rather carry two or even three crimps that do a perfect job than one that does everything wrong...

I bought this crimp set from globalgoved a year or two ago. It is the best crimping tool I have ever used. The ratcheting mechanism and top quality rj-45 die included make a perfect crimp every time. It has kept my hands from cramping when making alot of cables and saved me tons of time because it never misses a pin.
