Wow lets see, where to begin...well got it, popped it in the case, fired my pc and i was playing in less than 5 minutes. Upgraded from a Radeon 9250 PCI 128(yes i know), went from avg.15 frames per second in low to avg.30+ in high on Rappelz(one of the most demanding MMORPGs video card wise) Downloaded the latest drivers for Windows XP Pro instead of using the ones in the CD(7x.xx compared to 175.19) drivers 3x's lighter than aTi's. I would suggest this card for anyone still on AGP with low budget(my best choice budget wise specially because i had to pay taxes for FL).Runs awesome during game play, very little to no lag which is rare for older cards, instant performance boost as soon as installed, doesn't chug on your PSU like many other cards, which was my main disadvantage since i started looking for an upgrade. My P4 2.26GHz, 1 GB RAM has never performed better. and a 2 year warranty, you cant beat that!, thx Tiger, this is was first purchase and will not be my last.

I replaced a GeForce MX 4000 with the GeForce FX 5500. It was an easy swap out and the driver was very easy to install. Works great with a Samsung 2253BW, 22 inch LCD monitor.

I bought mine two years ago when it was the nVidia GeForce FX 5500 and came with the HeatSink Fan, but it still works perfectly fine. But then again, so does my nVidia GeForce 2, that has 64MB of on-card ram, which I bought about five years ago, lol. If I were going to recommend any kind of video card, it would have to be the nVidia line of video cards. This is one card that has not let me down yet.

Not bad, good value for the money & the features you get. Not the best card for editing video, but does the job for most photo apps & most games.. The one I had lasted just 18 months then just gave out. Took it out and sure enough one of the chips was slightly melted. Make sure your case is well ventilated, because the onboard fan is flimsy.. overall pretty cheap construction but you get what you pay for.
