Summary:
I purchased a Dell Inspiron 9400 notebook in the summer of 2007. As a virtual assistant and website designer, I had a lot of requirements, but due to budgetary restrictions, I skimped on the RAM. It didn't take me long to realize my mistake, as my computer just couldn't keep up with me. I finally decided to do something about it, and read on here that someone with the same computer was happy with it, so I replaced the two 512MB sticks that came with my computer with two of these, and wow - it's like day and night, and I really do regret that I didn't make this fairly small investment much much sooner.

It's working flawless. Installation is a breeze. It made my inspiron 6400 access to 3 Gig of RAM instead of the theoretical maximum 2 Gig stated by Dell! :)

I was hesitant to purchase any memory other than the Lenovo "certified" memory for my 3000 series laptop, but after doing a lot of research I opted to give this memory a try. To be perfectly honest, I'm glad I did! The memory has been running in my laptop now for over a month with absolutely zero issues. It just works! If you are looking for quality RAM on budget pricing, look no further than Corsair Value RAM.

Bought this for a Dell Latitude D820 running XP. Swapped out one of the 512mb sticks and replaced with this 2gb stick, to give 2.5gb. The RAM still ran in dual channel mode, and has worked flawlessly since I bought it! Fantastic value. When I bought it it had a rebate and was angry since I never received the rebate.... but I JUST received it over 5 months later. Oh well. Better late than never.

Installed in MacBook and saw great performance increase. Note for XP users upgrading to 4GB RAM, XP was only programmed to register up to 3GB. You may have to update your bios or boot.ini file to get it to see 4GB. There are sites that explain how to do this.

Bought this RAM for my HP DV9644 to bring my system memory up to 4gb. Problem with non-64 bit operating systems is that only 3gb can be recognized. But I heard that extra memory that the OS does not recognize can still be used for shared video memory. Anyways this is certainly the best deal around for a 2gb stick of high speed RAM. I am always pleased with Corsair and with Tigerdirect.ca

Summary:
Bought this for my Dell Latitude D820 laptop, and it is working like a charm. It is also compatible to work with mixed speeds. I am using it in combination with an existing stick of 512mb PC4200 ram (that runs at 533mhz instead of 667mhz). Both sticks run at the slowest speed if you mix speeds, which is normal. Been running a memory test on it for a day now and no problems detected. Good deal, IMO. Especially with the rebate.
