The D-Link DCS-5300W Security Camera.
The DCS-5300W is a powerful surveillance system that connects to a wired Ethernet
or Enhanced 802.11b wireless connection to provide remote high-quality video
and audio. The DCS-5300W provides advanced technology with DDNS and UPnP support.
Easily access your camera using an Internet Explorer browser from anywhere
in the world. From the web browser you can view video from the DCS-5300W and
manage the camera. The DCS-5300W comes with CCD sensor that provides a sharp
and clear image with life-like color representation. The built-in microphone
adds sound to the video. Record streaming video that utilizes high quality MPEG-4
Compression to your hard drive, enable motion detection and set up automated
email alerts for security.
The D-Link DCS-5300W also has a pan and tilt function that can be controlled
from the Web interface or from your remote control. Autopan mode enables the
camera to move 270 degrees horizontally and the Patrol mode cycles through up
to 24 preset positions. The speed of either pan or tilt can be adjusted to your
preference.
The bundled IP surveillance software further enhances the security features
of the DCS-5300W, allowing you to archive streaming video to your hard drive,
search and playback stored video, monitor as many as 16 cameras on a single
screen, and set up motion detection to trigger automatic recording or email
alert notification.
The DCS-5300W Internet Camera maximizes your existing network investment using
the latest Enhanced 802.11b wireless technology to communicate wirelessly at
up to 22 Mbps and offer 256-bit WEP security encryption.
The D-Link DCS-5300W can be wirelessly accessed and controlled remotely from
any PC or notebook computer over the Internet from anywhere in the world. Simple
installation procedures, along with the built-in Web-based interface provide

The DCS-5300W utilizes the speed and convenience of Enhanced 802.11b to maximize
your network investment. Connect to your wireless network at up to 22 Mbps
or connect to an Ethernet connection at 10 or 100 Mbps.

Pan and Tilt via Remote Control
You can extend the camera’s viewing area on your homepage to cover up to 270°
from side-to-side pan and 90° up-and-down tilt via the web-interface or remote
control.

The integration of a CCD sensor in the DCS-5300 enables high resolution images
and offers a sharper image with true-to-life color than CMOS sensors, even

- UPnP Support
The UPnP support lets computers running Windows® Me or Windows XP automatically
recognize the DCS-5300 and add it to your network without any requiring additional
set up. The DCS-5300 can be viewed from My Network Places as a device in the
network.

Web Server
The DCS-5300 eliminates the need to connect the camera directly to your computer
by using an integrated Web server. You can gain access to the camera, view
streaming live video, listen to sounds picked up by the built-in microphone
and make changes to the camera settings from your browser.
