(Posted on the wrong place first -- this is correct.) I am extremely happy with my new IBM ThinkPad T22 from TigerDirect. It has good speed and well-rounded features that make this a smart buy for anyone in the market for a budget notebook computer. As soon as I got it, I charged it up and did a fresh install of Windows XP and the whole thing runs great! I'm posting this review from it right now, in fact. (It even has a neat little LED light above the monitor designed to illuminate the keyboard in dark places. How cool is that?) The only slight disadvantage is battery life. Out of the box, my battery lasts 45 minutes to an hour. I am working on cycling the battery so that it will last longer, but I don't expect a gain of much more than twenty minutes to half an hour. I am able to be connected to electrical power most of the time, though, so that issue is minor and workable for me. Other than that, though, this is a five-star notebook for an unbeatable price

I bought this from TigerDirect when they first were available over a year ago. I still use it and it works great. I have since upgraded the memory, the hard drive and most important the battery. The only ''issue'' is that because they are off-lease and then have been sitting on a shelf for awhile, you need to check the battery right away. Mine only worked at 100% for about 4 months. It will still work, but the battery life weakens very quickly. Replacements run about $100, so its important to check it. Use the ThinkPad battery utility.

Great overall laptop at an awesome price! Would highly recommend this T22 for someone who wants a good cheap laptop. My T22 arrived today, found one pixel in the middle of the screen burntout, but noticed 256mb ram instead of the advertised 128. Yay! Thanks TigerDirect.ca!

Received the IBM T22 off lease laptop and it was in excellent condition. I was a little apprehensive about buying a used laptop but this one was in excellent condition. The unit looks like new. I would highly recommend the purchase.
