Picked this drive up at the $2 per GB price in June of 2010. I used this in a brand new desktop as my OS drive for the last 18 months. Performance was impressive and I was very satisfied overall with the purchase. I never defragged or benchmarked the drive and only used it for web browsing and other simple PC tasks.
However, today the drive would no longer be recognized by the BIOS. I submitted an RMA with hopes that things go smooth as other reviews have indicated the replacement process is sub-par. |

This is my first SSD and I love it. It is really fast, I installed this on an old laptop, now the laptop is faster than a brand new laptop with a HDD.
Word 2010 take a big 3 seconds to load... amazing

I bought this for my company for a mobile tech support computer, and boot times have really improved, which is important with a server problem. So far it does what I need, plenty of storage. It is okay. Price was decent, and that was my main deciding point. |
