Bought this computer less than a year ago and have had nothing but problems with this. Had problems with their tech support and was given wrong answers to problems with the computer. Finally, the screen went blank. I later found out this is a common problem due to the video chip seperating from the motherboard. Again, tech support wouldn't help and HP didn't stand by us as it was out of warranty (didn't care if it was due to a poor design). As it stands, I have a $700 door-stop. I'm planning to gut the thing and sell the parts on e-bay. Do yourself a favor and buy any other brand.

I've bought a few refurb PCs from here and everyone has been in incredible condition, this one is no exception. Appears to be in new condition zero scratches or defects. Now for the laptop itself. It is a great product for the price, I love the screen quality and the features.
I do have a couple of cons on this 1. the HP software pack is a pain and cumbersome including thier system performance monitor which takes over windows update. and 2. the spacebar seems to stick. You have to be constantly be watching if you actually get a space when you hit it.

I have had my computer three months and love it. No one has mentioned that it is preloaded with great software to edit video and graphics. This company has great deals and this is definitely one of them.

Arrived about a week ago. I went on line wireless tolibrary network right away. Needed help using windows 7. This machine is awesome. I love it for the sound, widescreen, grafix. I don't even game. Works like a new one. Just came with some Minor superficial scratches. To be expected. This is a factory rebuiuld . I think I can clean the keys!! Myoung relatives areso jealous. This is also the finest looking laptop I have ever seen. GET em while you can!! What a deal, I mean it.

What Is A Cell? It's a
battery
Though technically a battery has multiple cells, we are accustomed to calling a
single energy cell a battery as well.
In
electronics, a battery or voltaic cell is a combination of many electrochemical
Galvanic cells of identical type to store chemical energy and to deliver it in
the form of electricity. The battery cells combine to produce more energy
(voltage or amps) than a cell by itself. When joined in this way, it is a
battery of cells. Almost all portable electronics use one or more cells -
rechargeable or disposable. The more cells, the more energy available -
meaning more hours of use usually.
In Notebook computers, the battery case usually
holds three or more cells. 3 Cell batteries tend to provide about 1-3
hours of use, depending on the energy needs of the Laptop. 6 cell (or
more) batteries provide much more energy, and many more hours of use. This
can be good or bad! More cells mean longer use, but more weight too!
So remember to always check for the number of
cells if specified, and choose the right configuration for your use.
