I got the red 4mb as a tryout for the Zune HD I was thinking of getting. This is so good, I'm no longer in a rush to get the HD. I like the Zune interface better than Itunes. The Zune software automatically updates podcasts and syncs when plugged into the computer or wirelessly. Zunepass is great -- I listen to little music on the ipod because of cost. I have listened to more music in the past month than in the poast two years. Also a lot more podcasts. In fact, I've fallen behind on the audiobooks because of the other interesting things I have been able to easily access. The FM car adapter is outstanding -- sound is excellent, design is great, and the album playing is id'd on the car radio where FM info is usually displayed. Case is fine. I may get the 8mb just to have more room. This is s great bargain. |

I spent most of my weekend trying to battle with Zune's software, only in the end to find out that Zune is not compatible with XP Media 2002. The box mentions nothing of that. It just says compatible with XP & Vista. Apparently, it does work with XP Media 2005, after you battle through some non-essential updates, etc. The product sounds great, but wish I could use it... |
