Good Laptop, Worth the $$$!
I have had my laptop for a few months now and its well worth the money. I have had an Asus laptop as well as a full size HP laptop with Vista Home Premium. This laptop works much faster than both. The WLAN picks up on anything and everything and has never given me a problem. As other reviewers have said, it is easy to add more memory to the laptop for a few dollars, although I have had no reason to do so yet. The battery does last fairly long, maybe around 3 hours depending on what you are doing. The keyboard is larger than most for a mini laptop and makes it easy to type and schoolwork on. An interesting point of the laptop which I didn't realize til I purchased it is the power button is on the opposite side from the WLAN button. You slide it to the left to turn the laptop on. Overall, this laptop is worth the money you pay for it. I'd definitely recommend it!

GREAT Product but for Ubuntu, not Windows
We got the netbook and my original plan was to install Ubuntu Netbook Remix. The Windows XP Home that it comes with, plus all of the HP software they put on it used up 8GB of the 16GB it has. For fun, I stripped down Windows XP PRO and installed that, but Windows just runs slow on it and is too glitchy. Installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix on it and it is AWESOME. Definitely the way to go and it's got everything you need for exactly what a netbook should be used for - Word processing and internet. LOVE IT.

Dont buy
Recvd computer today tried going online after being on phone for two hours with India come to find out wlan not installed on computer this company i bought this from would not take ownership of problem only refunded my money so i went to manufacture directly and got a better deal

Great product for the price
Knowing that this was a refurb netbook, I knew I wasn't ordering a quad-core with 8gb ram or a brand new machine. It is great for what it is. I promptly removed WinXP in favor of Linux Mint 8. It runs a ton better and is 100% functional out of the box. It was a gift for my girlfriend for xmas and she absolutely loves it.

Excellent Netbook - great price
There have been some reviews that say you cannot put 2GB of RAM in this... NOT TRUE. You can put in 2 GB of RAM, I did and it's working great. very easy to change out. Excellent value, runs office great. using chrome for my browser - works awesome. bought for class - much lighter to carry around than my laptop. Would def buy again.
