This is my first Blu-Ray Player and I am very satisfied with the sound and picture quality. I've noticed a number of comments about how slow it is with a new disc however a friend has a high end player by another manufacturer and it behaves in an identical manner so I don't believe this is a problem. This open box deal was by far the lowest price that I found!

My first BR player. Bought it as an open box item. Came in perfect shape including owners manual and an extra pair of batteries for the remote. It's a little slow to boot up the disk. I have not hooked it up to the internet to update firmware or try the BD live feature. I am satisfied with the unit.

Great deal for a great player. No, it doesn't have Netflix streaming, but I already have two other devices that do that. It loads MUCH faster than my HD-DVD player. I can actually put a disc in after a few seconds from when it turns on. Highly recommended.

Arrived in new condition despite open box discount and works perfectly even without a flash upgrade. Only setting I had to change was optical audio output format so my prepro with no HDMI support could properly decode digital surround formats. Interoperates with my Mitsu DLP via HDMI cable. Definitely recommended!

for an out of box item i must say this was a steal,,hope you'll have other items as great as this ,like blu ray hts and over 30 inch tvs
