The maps were new, but the contained too many errors to be useable. Trying to navigate to a small hamlet, it missed by 6 kilometers. Street names were commonly misspelled. Also, the autozoom function is annoying and makes reading the GPS map while driving USELESS. |

i own a magellan myself... i bought this tomtom for my girlfriend thinking i'd be the better brand becuz it's popular, but i was horribly mistaken. it's IQ feature gets you confused. making u constantly switch lanes. and it will not read street names if u have a regular voice downloaded. when you're nearing your destination, it gives you last second turn announcements, making u have to u-turn back if u miss it. and lastly it measures in YARDS rather than miles when you're on the street. |
