At first, I plugged it into my computer and tried updating it then after it did that which took about 2 hours, It said that it can't load maps. So I tried updating it again and it went perfectly that time so I guess it just missed something. But overall this is a great product, it's very fast and responsive and the speaker is very loud and clear and it's not one of those cheap speakers this is a really great one. I'll buy this again any day. |

This is the second Tom Tom 140 I've purchased. Have one in my car and one in the wife's car. It's relatively user friendly and quite accurate, although satellite aquisition can take some time. Biggest problem is the window mount. One is barely funtional after less than 3 months, and the other just fell apart in pieces in about two weeks. |

I recently took this GPS on a business trip to Monterrey and Mexico City. It saved my a$$ several times, navigating through the complex streets of Mexico City with no problems at all. It new the streets better than my Taxi driver! This is my second TomTom, and I love it!
Great GPS, especially for the money. |

The maps were new, but the contained too many errors to be useable. Trying to navigate to a small hamlet, it missed by 6 kilometers. Street names were commonly misspelled. Also, the autozoom function is annoying and makes reading the GPS map while driving USELESS. |
