I have this product and would NOT waste my money! Many problems with drivers, recognizing network, and mapping issues, PLUS data loss! If it works, it works great -BUT- Big problem with getting help from Iomega support. Iomega NAS solutions have hundreds of unresolved problems posted on their own forums- with NO answers. Check for yourself- iomegasupportforums. Mine is now a BRICK!

Bought this NAS mainly for remote access. Manufacturer assures access from anywhere. First - you have to upgrade your firmware to get it this possibility. Second , this is done by the third-party company ( you no nothing about that during purchase). This is why there is no FT P implemented - you have to pay for access to your own device ! Third, your all data must go trough theirs servers and it takes a very long time , you never know what is going on with your security data. And , the bigger file you can upload is.....16 MB ! This is a kind of joke . If you are going to send picture from your cell is enough. Don't buy this device for regular use.
Good value, easy setup

I'm using this with two Vista 64 laptops and an XP desktop so that everyone in our familty can share photos and iTunes. The install went fine, just pop the CD into each PC and it maps six drive folders as drive letters. I upgraded the firmware from version 29 to version 40 to get the latest features and bug fixes. It took a long time and when it rebooted it got a different IP address from my router and didn't really want to talk to my PC until I rebooted the PC. Other than that, it's been smooth sailing.
I plugged a 250GB USB hard drive into the back of the NAS and it automatically came up as another lettered drive and worked fine. The NAS does not operate nearly as fast as a USB drive connected directly to a PC. Copying files between the Seagate drive and the NAS was very slow when USB drive was plugged into the Iomega; the files get passed all the way across the network to the PC and back. It is best to copy with the USB drive connected to the PC.
Disappointed to put it mildly

I was excited to get this drive and the possibility of using it as a print server. I have one non-PC and 4 PCs in a small home network.
I spent many hours trying to get it to work properly, including phone support. I tried three different printers with only limited success, and never able to use with all of the computers. I now use it just like an external backup drive (with some concerns now on reliability). I also found the reset button and on-off to be unresponsive when troubleshooting the setup and had to resort to turning it on and off by unplugging, which is not a good thing!
I am finding it is seemingly slow to be found by a couple of the computers when searching for files stored on it. Have not pushed it as a media drive yet.
I should have returned this unit, but have waited this long(couple of months) and have decided to chock it up to my error.
Great product!!

I love my Iomega drive. I had some issues updating the firmware, but finally realized it mas my router, not the drive. I bought a new router and everything works great!! I love the FTP functionality. I think this is a great product for the money!!
