This computer failed to start straight out of the box! Got it set up, plugged in the monitor, keyboard and mouse, plugged in the power cords and hit the start button. It buzzed a couple of times, beepped twice and shut off only to start the process all over again without me having to do anything. UPDATE: Shipped it back to ACER (at my expense with no offer to reimburse). Received it 10 days later and it has worked flawlessly ever since. |

I have had my computer since June, 2009. The problem I'm having is that the unit won't power up. I don't think the location of the power switch at the top is very long-term functional. I have to return for replacement. |

I love the monitor, actually fond of the whole package. Worked great till I set parental controls for my teenage boys. Completely lost internet access for all users, still lost after turning off parental controls. Big pain. Tried changing setting in numerous screens. Researched internet, seems a lot of people are having this problem, none of the fixes out there worked for mine. Had to Restore numerous times. Have come to conclusion that I will have to download other parental controls and not use the ones that are built into the operating system. |

I was recommended this product from my web site developer as he was adamant about an AMD processor he reviewed all the capacities for the cost and said he couldnt build a computer better for the cost. I would say like others it is surprising that no manual is included at all and hope a few pictures work for you. I understand no back up disc since this sysytem has a burner and all you have to do is make your own. This unit is working great and I am looking forward in getting my Windows 7 upgrade that was free with this system. he did recommend Norton anti-virus though instead of MacFee,just choices I guess. Thanks again. |
