Great Drive
One of the best drives I have ever owned. I'm currently using it as my OS boot and its running faster than any of my 7200 rpm SATA 3 drives. Boot is approx. 10 seconds faster then with my other drives. Benchmarks show higher results for both sustained and random write times. All in all, a VERY good drive.

Just look at product info
I use this as a secondary with an SSD running OS. Works and has no issues. Probably should have bought two and just run in a raid setup.

Seagate is good quality.
of 20 or so hard drives I got from seagate 2 of them have been sent in. Both times the process was very easy and FAST (about 1 week). All of my seagate drives have lasted over 6 years. This one is to replace my Barracuda ES 500gig which is 8 years old still working but noisy. ALL Companies and factories may have a glitch here and there. But it is those whom recognize and replace in a timely manner make them the better consumer choice. SEAGATE is a quality hard drive producer.

One BIG hard drive
Lots of room on this SATA3 drive. Plugged this into my on board SATA3 controller, but my Win7 benchmark shows the IDENTICAL 5.4 rating as my SATA2 drive running on a SATA2 controller. Nice to have the latest, but not really any faster.
