Let me first state I've had this J6480 All In One since June 2009, and promise to all that is Holy that this printer hasn't worked consistently for more than 14 days. I consistently install & uninstall the software, download and or update all drivers, reconfigure the network settings, and it still doesn't work. The bad thing is this was a business purchase. Because I bought it refurbished the warranty had ran out. Prior to the expired warranty I called HP, and they haven't stood by there word to replace it. My first 3 calls was because the printer shipped with a bad black cartridge and the printer didn't recognize it. I regret purchasing this printer and would strongly advise against buying a refurbished product. Also the fax won't allow me to receive, I've gone through every troubleshooting technique from the HP website, and I'm definitely technically inclined. I've had to use my old printer, though the prints aren't as fine, It always WORKS.

I could have spend a little more on one of the more expensive HP printers but, I thought, what the heck, give this one a try! For $79 plus shipping, considering the advertised features, I didn't think I could go wrong. I was right! This is the best (and cheapest) HP printer I've had so far! Everything about this printer, i.e. setup, configuration, fax, scanning, printing and copying has worked flawlessly! If this printer is a refurb, you coulda fooled me! It looks and acts completely new! I'm quite pleased with this purchase. Some of the more expensive printers don't have several of the features on the HP J6480! For SOHO or just personal use, get this AIO!! Overall, I think you will be quite satisfied.
Its a nice all in 1 I dont like that you cant use all connections at the same time. I want wireless through printer but you cant if you are using ethernet hookup. Just like you cant use USB and Ethernet at the same time. I have 5 computers 1 wireless 4 wired not enough ports in router. I do like being able to make double sided copies and sending faxes without have to go though computer.

I ordered a refurbished J6480 but when I went to install it the paper kept jamming. I contacted HP and they are replacing it with another refurbished model. I am now questioning the choice of buying a refurbished model. I will withhold judgement on the product until I receive the replacement. The replacement is being sent to me without charge as well as no charge for returning the 1st one I received. HP was very helpful in trying to solve the problem over the phone and it was at their suggestion that the exchange be made. I have been buying HP products for over 15 years and this is the first problem I have encountered.

Got Print Media For Your Printer? What is Print Media? Print media
consists of paper, envelopes, cardstock, overhead transparencies, and labels
that are used with printers. Basically, Print Media is anything you print
on.
Printers are
characteristically required to handle print media of various paper types.
When it comes to choosing the right media (paper) for the job, consider two
