It was up and running within minutes after UPS left. It does make a squealing noise when warming up, but is quiet after that. Like Lexmark inkjets, the toner cartridges are not full as I had to replace the black after printing 500 sheets for a mailing. But, the good news was that this site had the lowest prices for the black cartridge. Plus, it can be easily refilled by removing a plastic plug like my Brother. |

I HAVE BOUGHT 3 KONICA MINOLTA LASER PRINTERS FROM THIS COMPANY AT THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. THE VALUE IS THERE AND I CAN USUALLY BUY A NEW KM PRINTER CHEAPER THAN BUYING THE CARTRIDGES. |

Works well til you replace toners, then color becomes poor at best. My unit arrived with a serious issue of drawing excessive power during start up (enough to brown out whole house or trip circuit breaker) but did fine until unit went into sleep mode afterward. Repeats issue when returning from sleep mode.
Also NO WINDOWS 7 drivers are available, and the generic drivers lack any kind of color calibration to fix color issues. Changing toners is problematic also since you can't set one color to come up to replace and must randomly open unit hoping to get the right one in position at the time you stop. |
